NovaHeart Advances Cardiovascular Health and Heart Care at CIRACET’s Scientific Innovation Night in Ponce

Ponce, Puerto Rico – May 22, 2025 — In a night dedicated to the convergence of science, medical technology, and cardiovascular health, NovaHeart, the Puerto Rican innovation in non-invasive vascular regeneration, was presented to an audience of scientists, cardiology professionals, entrepreneurs, and innovators during the Scientific Innovation Night, hosted by the Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC) at CIRACET in the city of Ponce.
The event featured a vibrant agenda of health talks, high-level networking opportunities, and exclusive presentations on some of the most disruptive advancements in heart health technology. Among the keynote speakers were Dr. Marcia Cruz, Chief Medical Officer of PanOncology Trials; Ing. Mariano de Alcatraz, Founder and CEO of CorePlus; and Ing. Paola Morales Carvajal, Founder of NovaHeart, who presented her technology as a new frontier in preventive cardiovascular medicine.
“We are shifting the paradigm from waiting for a cardiac event to take action. With NovaHeart, we open the door to truly preventive, accessible, and non-invasive medicine,” said Morales Carvajal during her presentation.
Thanks to the leadership of Eng. Óscar Misla Villalba, President of CIRACET, and Eng. Noris Torres Santiago, Vice President of CIRACET, the event reaffirmed Puerto Rico’s commitment to developing a thriving ecosystem for scientific innovation and precision health.
